What’s On in November at The Falkners Arms
The Falkners Arms
Winter’s well and truly on its way but luckily things are hotting up in The Falkners in November, with more going on than you can shake that old proverbial stick at…
On the sports front, well the Rugby World Cup came and went like a damp squib as far as England were concerned, so let’s concentrate on the footie for a while…
Having blown away all-comers on our inexorable march towards next year’s Euro 2016 finals, we now get a chance to see how good we are against players who have their own boots and balls and everything. A couple of top-class internationals against Spain on Friday 13th(!) and France on 17th should give us an inkling as to whether we need get our hopes up for the Euros next year or not.
Also, it’s the next couple of rounds of the Champions League with all four English teams in with a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages, and some mouth-watering fixtures in this year’s topsy-turvy Premiership. See all the top TV fixtures.
It will soon be the festive season, and our Christmas Party Menu is already proving really popular so if you’re looking for a great venue for that special get-together with friends, family or work colleagues then look no further – see the menu.
…and tickets to our night of the year, our New Year’s Party are NOW AVAILABLE!!! There will be brilliant entertainment from one of the best funk and soul bands around, the awesome Moonfly, plus a fabulous buffet and a glass of bubbly to welcome in 2016.
Tickets are £20 and only available before the big night, so pick up at the bar, or call us on 01252 811311 to reserve and pick up later. Numbers are strictly limited and we completely sell out every year so reserve your ticket early to avoid disappointment.
And finally, an early shout out for a great event coming up in December – we’ll be hosting our first ever Christmas Fayre on Wednesday 2nd from 7 to 9:30pm. There will be 25 craft, food and gift stalls, so put a note in your diary to come along for a bit of Christmas cheer and look for those difficult-to-find presents for difficult-to-buy-for people.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
